At the ABCCM Veterans Restoration Quarters our mission is to create a principle-based environment and comprehensive residential program that addresses every area of restoration in the life of a homeless veteran. We work to provide each man with stability, personal skill building, educational and training opportunities leading to employment and housing and the restoration of personal dignity, faith and strength.

How ABCCM began.

The Steadfast House

ABCCM Medical Ministry. This is Asheville and Buncombe County's only free clinic which is staffed by volunteer physicians, nurses, dentists, hygienists, social workers and counselors. These faithful care givers deliver healthcare to the working poor in order to help them stay on the job and provide for their family.

Katryn Cole describes her heart for blessing others in the 2013 Christmas season. Her unique idea was to hand-draw, and hand-color over 250 Christmas cards for homeless veterans housed at ABCCM's Veteran's Restoration Quarters in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Katryn is nine-years-old and is in the fourth grade at Glen Arden Elementary School in Arden, NC.

Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry (ABCCM) creates opportunities for churches to work in collaboration and cooperation to serve the critical needs of their neighbors. ABCCM is a coalition of area churches that responds to emergency assistance needs in Asheville and Buncombe County for those incarcerated, the homeless, families in poverty and the uninsured.
